Height 4 Hire is celebrating their 500th machine with a custom painted pink machine to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation. The new Compact 14 scissor lift was supplied at cost by Haulotte, in support of the McGrath Foundation’s mission to raise money to place specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed.

Height 4 Hire a corporate partner, will be contributing 20% of the hire price of the machine to the McGrath Foundation and hope to reach a target of $15,000 by October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Owner of Height 4 Hire, Ken Baker, describes why they are supporting this charity.

“We wanted to celebrate our milestone of 500 machines with something special and also wanted to contribute back to the community that support us. A few of us at Height 4 Hire have been personally affected by Cancer recently; so we are looking for any way to help raise funds towards awareness or services to help those that are suffering from cancer” Mr Baker said.

McGrath Foundation Ambassador and Director, Tracy Bevan, says the McGrath Foundation continues to be blown away by the support from Australian communities, which directly helps the Foundation in its mission to ensure every family in Australia experiencing breast cancer has access to a breast care nurse no matter where they live – and always free.

“We are proud to have funded 119 McGrath Breast Care Nurses working nationally who, together, have supported more than 60,000 families going through breast cancer. Efforts like this are truly  helping us to make a difference; we couldn’t do it without you,” Tracy said.

Pinkie’, as it is affectionately known, is available for hire from Height 4 Hire for any jobs requiring up to a 14m working platform and the hirer will be pleased with the knowledge that a portion of this hire cost will be going to worthy cause.

The Compact 14 is part of the trusted Compact range from Haulotte and offers many benefits as described by Keith Clarke the General Manager for Haulotte Australia.

“The Compact 14 is light, which reduces transport costs and has a compact design making it great for high storage facilities or high ceilings. It also features the highest load capacity on the market of 350kg; capable of lifting 3 people” said Mr Clarke.

“We are proud to help contribute to this fundraising effort for the McGrath Foundation and are happy to support our customers in anyway” added Mr Clarke.

This is just the most recent fundraising effort from Height 4 Hire who has been actively raising money for the McGrath Foundation through sponsorship walks and in-house donations. In 2015, Height 4 Hire, alongside several other companies including Haulotte, sponsored and participated in a 22.5km hike, which raised over $50,000 towards the McGrath Foundation.

Throughout this corporate partnership between Height 4 Hire and the McGrath Foundation, both Height 4 Hire and Haulotte endeavour to hold different fundraising events to help raise additional funds and awareness of the McGrath Foundation.
