As part of its «Blue Strategy», Haulotte announces its collaboration with Bouygues Energies & Services which will focus on using hydrogen energy to fuel lifting equipment.
Bouygues Energies & Services will test a Haulotte machine equipped with a fuel cell system under real conditions on several of its construction sites for one year.
The energy, digital and industrial transition player will also be in charge of studying the hydrogen supply ecosystem for the construction sites.
This partnership between the two groups aims to confirm the technical feasibility of using hydrogen technology in the construction sector to provide a low-carbon, zero-emission solution in response to climate, environmental and public health issues.
Haulotte is thus exploring solutions for the complete decarbonization of its future people-lifting equipment.
